My name is Susan Goldthorp, I am a Real Estate Investor in Brevard County. I am a Licensed Real Estate Professional and have been managing my own properties for the last 6 years. I originally came from the UK having spent over 10 years as a manager in the British Prison Service. When my children were small I went with my husband who is a software architect with Oracle to New Zealand. From there we moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in California where we lived for 5 years. We moved from California to Florida in April 2003. The price difference between properties in California and Florida enabled us to start investing in real estate.

I now manage around 30 tenants at any given time. Some of my tenants have been with me since I purchased the property they live in.  I would prefer to confine myself to Cocoa, Merritt Island and Titusville areas.

  5. We also have software where you can analyze the financials on a property to work out how much you should pay for it and for existing properties when it would make sense to sell. This is an integrated system so properties that were entered to be analyzed and were subsequently purchased can stay in the system to be “managed” until you decide to sell.
  6. Having all the information on a property allows us to produce reports for end of year taxes.
  7. I have been using this software for 3 years now and we are continually making improvements to it.
  8. As a Licensed Real Estate agent I can also act as your buyer and/or selling agent, should you choose to buy more properties or sell the ones you have according to market conditions.
